Hello all! I am TORN! Visiting May 2013 with Husband, 5 yr old and 18 month old. Whats your opinion on bringing JUST a stroller for 18 month old or bringing a double for both kids? I have a single Maclaren or I can borrow a double Maclaren. Thanks!

    Hi, Margaret!

Be torn no more and go borrow that double stroller; you are going to need it.

While at home, we never put our children in a stroller at five years of age; however, we absolutely did so when they were five and in Walt Disney World. Simply put, those little legs simply can't keep going for an entire day and night, and you'll all be unhappy because the five-year-old will be exhausted. Those parks are big, especially Epcot, and you'll be able to keep going with two happy kids in tow if they both get to relax and enjoy the parks, rather than struggling to keep up. At some point, you'll find yourselves with a sleepy five-year-old, too, and may even find the little one sound asleep on a resort bus or monorail ride. Having the stroller to help get everyone back to your resort will be a godsend on nights such as those.

Don't give a second thought to this one, Margaret. You'll be so glad you brought a double stroller once you are in Walt Disney World, especially since you are able to borrow one at no additional cost to you.

Happy planning! Be sure to send additional questions as you think of them, Margaret. We love to help!
