I am so torn! I am taking my 3 yo son in May. 5 nights, arrival night planned for DS TRex for dinner. So, I have to cut a park or split a day for two of them. I CANNOT decide. I am OK cutting one but if I don't which 2 parks should share a day?

    Hey Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in May! Your little one is sure to have a roaring good time at T-REX on your arrival night. My family has experienced this prehistoric adventure many times in the past and always loved it!

I can certainly understand your dilemma. If you decide to skip a park entirely, I would suggest saving Epcot for a future vacation when your son is a little older. As a mom of four children who are all teenagers now, my Mouseketeers did not fully appreciate all that Epcot had to offer until they were closer to their "tween" years. If you decide to split your day between two parks, I would advise visiting Epcot in the morning and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon and evening. After leaving Epcot, you may want to consider heading back to your resort for a midday break or nap and then heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios refreshed and ready for an evening of fun. Your son will be ready to play big in Toy Story Land, dance and sing at the Disney Junior Dance Party! and be entertained at the new Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy. Don't miss Fantasmic!, a nighttime spectacular which is a "must do" for my family.

When planning your itinerary, I recommend booking your three FastPass+ selections at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Jennifer, I hope this has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. Let us know if you have any new questions as you plan a magical trip for your family!
