We are torn between Pop and a moderate resort. We tend to stay at the parks most of the time, kids 5 & 8 at the time of travel. Hubby and I would like to try moderate. Not sure what to do! Loved Movies, not so much for Music though.Never been to mode

    Hi Rebecca,

Moderate Resorts are a fun switch.  They'll offer you a bit more space, which you may like now that your children are getting older.  They also have a themed pool with a slide and a more restaurant options.

My favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  It's not quite as sprawling as the other moderate resorts.  My husband and I stayed there last year, and we really enjoyed how quaint it was.

Having said that, if you could save money this year by staying at Pop Century, and then splurge for a Deluxe Resort next time, that would be my plan.  I've stayed at Pop Century and really like it; it's colorful and fun!  The food court is great, and I found that although there were always a lot of people at the bus stop, buses came frequently.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
