    I am torn between AoA and PO Riverside. We are a family of 5. Our kids are 21, 13, and 6 years old. Any suggestions?

    Hello Maria!  As a family of 5 we have stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside numerous times, and it really was one of our favourite places to stay.  That was until we recently stayed at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  Wow!  We all loved it, and the increased space and 2 bathrooms in the room were what put it way out front for us!  Also, my husband and I loved the privacy of having our own bedroom and bathroom.  There is also a kitchenette which really helps cut down on eating expenses - your family can have breakfast in the room before setting out for the parks, which we find really helps to cut costs. The theme of the resort is based on animated movies, and we were all blown away by the feeling of stepping in to those movies by the incredible scenery and architecture.

    Now don't get me wrong - we still love Port Orleans Riverside, and I know that if you do stay there you will enjoy it.  I just feel that your comfort level will be increased by staying at Art of Animation, especially considering that a couple of your kids are older and bathroom time definitely increases when the kids get older!  One note - Port Orleans Riverside has recently replaced their trundle beds with a murphy-style bed and I'm told they are much better than the old trundles.
