hi! Torn between AKL & WL. Both offer rooms w/ Queen & set of bunks which is ideal for our family. Does the WL offer balconies on these rooms? We like to sit outside in the morning and evenings and this is a must have for our vacation!

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! It’s definitely a tough one… asking me to choose between two of my favourite Resorts in Walt Disney World is no small feat, but I’m up to the challenge!

From what I understand, both Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge offer bunk bed rooms that have balconies. That being said, if you like having a nice sit on your balcony in the morning and evenings (one of my favourite activities!), then I would really recommend going with Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge during your upcoming stay. One of my favourite parts of any stay at that Resort is sitting out on the balcony, with a beverage and a book, watching the animals go about their day in the amazing savanna right in front of me. If a balcony is a “must have” for your vacation, then you really can’t go wrong with a stay in a Savanna View room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
