What are the top 5 restaurants you’d recommend in Disney World for celebrating a 7th Girl’s birthday?

    Hiya Adriana,

Welcome to planDisney! Let me be the first to wish your little Mouseketeer Happy Birthday or, as my friend Olaf would say, “Dry Banana Hippy Hat!” Nothing says Happy Birthday like great food and cake (but we will get to cake later)! As a mom to a little princess, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking of the best places to enjoy a meal at Walt Disney World Resort for birthdays, so I’m incredibly excited to answer your question.

So let’s dig in; my top five favorite places to celebrate (in no particular order) are:

    1. Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
    2. Chef Mickey’s
    3. Cinderella’s Royal Table
    4. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    5. Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera Breakfast
    6. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

If your little one loves Disney Princesses, then Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, Cinderella’s Royal Table, and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall are the best places to add magic to her day. What I love about these options is that your daughter will meet Disney Princesses while enjoying her yummy meal, which is a win-win. Of the three, I really have a special place in my heart for Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. I took my daughter when she was five months old, and Snow White spent so much time playing peek-a-boo with her at our table. It was the sweetest interaction ever and a core memory forever.

Speaking of magic, Chef Mickey’s and Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera are great places for little ones who love Mickey and his pals. If you love fantastic food, then Topolino’s Terrace has the most incredible breakfast on property to me. I also love seeing Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald in their artist gear. Now, if your little one is a bit more of a picky eater but still wants some time with Mickey Mouse, then I think she will love Chef Mickey’s. This all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet might not have you experimenting with flavors, but it is a solid choice for a meal.

Now I know you only asked for five choices, but I have to sneak in one more that is a little out of the box, and it is my favorite dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. They really do birthdays right here! It is a high-energy performance, and the food is soo good. It is pure entertainment and an excellent option for celebrating seven magical years.

Before I let you go, Adriana, I hope you found this helpful. If you want more tailored recommendations based on your budget or your daughter’s interests, you can always come back to see me, and I would be happy to help. I also want to talk about cake (you didn’t think I forgot, did you?). Select Walt Disney World Resort dining locations let you add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to your reservation. Even better, all of my top picks (minus Akershus Royal Banquet Hall) participate in letting you order a celebration cake. If you are interested, be sure to pre-order when you make your reservation to ensure that you can have one for your little Mouseketeer.

    Happy Planning,
