What would be your top pick of a not to miss Disney restaurant - full service or buffet. Has to good for a group of 8. Kids range in age from 7,10,12, 17 +4 adults. We are going in Aug, and want to get my ADR. Thinking of Boma, any other picks?

    Bonnie:

When I make recommendations to friends for their vacations, at the top of my list are:

    • Ohana:  Good for all ages and appetites because it's all-you-can-eat in a friendly atmosphere.  Kids can get in on the coconut races while the adults enjoy the view!
    • California Grill:  A great choice for a final night!  It's a little pricier, but the view of the surrounding Disney campus is impressive.
    • Chef Mickey's:  Whether it's breakfast or dinner, the buffet always offers choices that appeal to everyone.  Hosted by Mickey and the gang.  Need I say more?
    • Any restaurant in Epcot's World Showcase: yes, I have my favorites with Biergarten, Teppan Edo, and LeCellier, but each restaurant represents its country so well with authentic menu choices and decor that make you feel like you're eating on a sidewalk along the Champs Elysees, under the stars in Mexico City, or in an old Norweigen castle!
Don't forget that your party qualifies as a Magical Gathering!  When you make your reservations, you'll need to go through a Grand Gatherings expert at (407) 934-7639 to get the reservations for your larger party.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
