What are the top activities you should book before the cruise on The Wish

    Ahoy there, Michael!

Welcome aboard planDisney! You and your crew are in for an enchanted time aboard the Wish—where dreams set sail and every corner of the ship is sprinkled with Disney magic! From incredible dining to action-packed adventures, there’s plenty to book ahead of time to make the most of your voyage.

When it comes to must-book activities, it really depends on your family’s interests. Whether you’re looking for high-seas thrills, indulgent relaxation, or a little bit of both, there are four main categories to focus on: Port Adventures, spa & fitness, onboard fun, and adult dining.

For Nassau, many Guests prefer to stay onboard and explore the Wish, but if you’re up for adventure, excursions to Atlantis, Blue Lagoon, or a catamaran snorkeling trip are great options. However, Castaway Cay is the true treasure! Whether you’re renting floats and tubes, snorkeling in search of hidden Mickeys, or trying to snag that elusive private cabana, this island paradise is a must-explore. My crew and I love hitting the bike trail, paddling around in kayaks, or just relaxing at Serenity Bay while sipping on a Konk Kooler!

If you or any of your adult crewmates need a little "me-time," a visit to Senses Spa is the perfect way to unwind. My wife and I booked a couples massage after an action-packed Port Adventure, and let me tell you—it was practically perfect in every way! Whether it’s a massage, a facial, or even a pedicure, the spa is an oasis at sea you won’t want to miss.

Onboard activities that require advance reservations tend to fill up quickly, so if your crew is interested in:

Beverage Tasting Seminars (for those looking to toast to adventure!)
    • Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers (for little princes and princesses!)
Olaf’s Royal Picnic (for Frozen fans who just can’t let it go!)
    • Shutters photo sessions (for capturing those picture-perfect moments!)

… then be sure to book as soon as your advance booking window opens! If something you want is already full, don’t lose faith like Rapunzel waiting to see the lanterns—check with Guest Services once onboard, as cancellations do happen!

One of my favorite free but reservations-required experiences is the Royal Gathering, where your crew can meet multiple Disney Princesses in one magical setting. This event opens 30 days before sailing, so be sure to mark your calendar!

For a meal to remember, you’ll want to book Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté—both offering exquisite cuisine in an elegant setting. While brunch at Palo is always a fan favorite, don’t underestimate dinner—it’s an absolute must-do if you’re looking to indulge in the finest flavors at sea.

No matter what activities you choose, there’s no wrong way to enjoy the magic aboard the Disney Wish—after all, adventure is out there at every turn! I hope this helps you plan the most magical voyage!

Sea ya real soon with luck in the air and magic everywhere,
    Dustin
