Welcome to planDisney, Mark!
There's nothing worse than going on a Disney vacation when a desired attraction (or entire land!) is closed. My family and I recently visited
Disneyland Park with our little Mouseketeers and we were sad that we couldn't experience Mickey's Toontown. Still, we had a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time. There is so much to do at Disneyland Park, especially for little ones. My kids really loved exploring
Pirate's Lair on Tom Swayer Island. It was so much fun running through the caves, crossing the bridges, and looking for the treasure. However, I can't wait to see the transformation of Mickey's Toontown. It gives me one more reason to go back!
Mark, at this time, we don't know the exact date for when Mickey's Toontown will reopen. All we know is that
it will reopen in early 2023. As long as Disney doesn't run into unforeseen problems, my guess is that Mickey's Toontown should be open by the time you visit. However, it's not guaranteed. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog between now and then for any updates.
When it does open, I'm sure your family will thoroughly enjoy Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I've experienced this ride at the Walt Disney World Resort and it's so much fun. It's a great attraction for all ages.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Mark. See ya real soon!
Mike
