Ahoy William!
Thanks for cruising by planDisney with a great question! Disney Cruise Line vacations are always full of magical memories, but even more so when the fun is shared with others! There are spaces and entertainment that everyone will love. One of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is that my
kids have fun exploring spaces specially designed for them while my husband and I can relax in
adult-only areas. However, we always find time to enjoy the pools, meals, and nightly entertainment together as a family!
William, there are a few options if you're starting to plan a cruise with a group. First, you could always pick a cruise and then have each family book their own travel. Once the cruise reservations have been made, you can
link the reservations together to help accommodate plans such as coordinating
rotational dining assignments. When selecting rooms, you can view locations on deck plans available on the website. If you're interested in reserving any connecting rooms, they are also easily identified on the deck plans. Another option would be to
reach out directly to Disney Cruise Line for help from a Cast Member to make your plans or contact a travel agent to assist with organizing your trip for everyone!
Depending on which itinerary you book, you may find yourself at
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. These island paradise destinations are absolutely breathtaking. While Lookout Cay is just beginning to welcome guests this month, I've had the chance to visit Castaway Cay several times over the years and it's always my favorite day on the cruise. If you end up visiting Castaway Cay, I would recommend the
Getaway Package which includes snorkel equipment, inner tube/float, and a bike rental for each guest. This would be perfect for a group as you can explore together or separately throughout the day!
William, I hope this helps as you start to plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation with your family! Please stop by to see us again if you have any other questions in the future - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
