When we took our 4 year old granddaughter on the Wonder last year we had late dining. At the end of our meal, a counselor came and took the kids back to the club & while we finished our meal. Is this done for early dining as well?

What a lucky princess you've got, Valerie! How awesome that she's got you to take her on such a magical voyage to enjoy being the princess that she is. You deserve a grand parent award!

The Dine and Play program is only available for guests who are enjoying the late seating for dinner. It is not available during the earlier seating. This is such a great service especially for the kids who can't wait to get back into the clubs to spend more time with their friends. And for the adults - it means a quiet and leisurely dinner... all the way to dessert, and even a nice cup of tea or coffee to cap your evening.

If you do decide to try the earlier seating for your next cruise, you can still request your dining team to serve your grand daughter's dinner first (or the same time as your appetizer). She can start eating her meal and still enjoy spending some time at the dinner table with you. Right around the time you finish your appetizer and soup or salad, she might also be done with her dinner, and you can do a quick dinner intermission :-). A quick drop off at the Oceaneer Club will take less than 10 minutes, and you'll back at your table to enjoy your main entree and the rest of the evening.

You might also want to try having her join her friends at dinner at the Oceaneer Club for 1 night and see how that goes. The dinner schedule will be available at the Youth Clubs or you can ask one of the youth counselors.

Wishing you another pixie dust-filled voyage, Valerie!
