Took the kids to WDW last summer. So much fun:) Did the character dining at Tusker house, loved it:) Going back this summer with the kids(boy4-girl6) Can you recommend 2 character dining places? Should we try 2 new or go back to Tusker?THX,love the panel:)

Hello, Monica! I'd be happy to help with my suggestions for character meals. These experiences are some of the most magical as the kids get to interact with some of their favorite characters in the happiest place on earth! What more could you ask for?!

Tusker House is one of my top choices for several reasons. I like the food, atmosphere and the fun safari dress of Donald and the gang. Since this happens to be one of the few that offer breakfast at Animal Kingdom it is an ideal spot to start your day there. However, I always love to try new places on each of our trips. It makes each trip memorable in different ways.

So, here are some other favorites of mine. Breakfast at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort is a great option. It is one of the few places you can see Lilo and Stitch as well as some other favorite characters dressed in their island best! My kids loved the breakfast and they are typically picky eaters. Their favorite was the sausage! Delicious. Another fun part of this breakfast is they'll usually engage the kids in a conga line around the restaurant or other silly games. Another top pick for our family is 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. I have been to this breakfast more times than I can count. The buffet spread here is one of the largest and so it is hard to have something for everyone. You'll see favorite characters like Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland or Tigger and Pooh. Mary Poppins has also made appearances here as well. Lastly, is Chef Mickey's. If your kids love the Fab Five (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Pluto), this is the place to see them all. It, too, has a wonderful spread and character meals are here for breakfast and dinner! The atmosphere is top notch as you watch the monorails zoom overhead! As with 'Ohana and 1900 Park Fare, they are all at monorail resorts and are a short ride to the Magic Kingdom after breakfast.

May you have a special trip filled with pixie-dusted memories!
