Hello Yolanda and thanks for bringing such a great question to us here at planDisney.
As we continue to
Return to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World I really believe that all the wonderful Cast Members are doing such a fine job of keeping each and every Guest safe as they visit the most magical place on earth during the Covid-19 global pandemic.
Be assured that Walt Disney World Resort is taking guidance from appropriate government agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and has health and safety provisions in place such as
Physical Distancing,
Reduced Contact, and lots of
Hand Sanitizer Locations conveniently dotted around Disney property.
At present,
Face Coverings are required for all Guests aged 2 years old and over, including all Cast Members and those who have received a Covid-19 vaccination. Face coverings can be brought from home and Guests are required to wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming.
Yolanda, I do have some recent news to share with you on the wearing of face coverings at Walt Disney World Resort! Guests may now
temporarily remove their face coverings whilst actively eating, drinking, or snapping an
outdoor photo. However, Guests should remain stationary, plus adhere to the appropriate physical distancing measures.
Additionally, I also thought you may find this
Disney Parks Blog article - planDisney: Our Top Face Covering Tips to be a really useful planning resource for your upcoming
summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
