Hello! I just took my first cruise and I'm hooked. Looking to future trips, if I were to book back-to-back cruises and able to book the same stateroom, do I need to disembark between the cruises? Or would I be able to remain onboard? TIA!

Anchors aweigh! Courtney, I'm so happy to see you here again at planDisney. I cherish anytime I can talk to another Pennsylvanian about my love of Disney vacations and am happy to help in your planning.

Courtney, I felt exactly the same way about Disney Cruise Line! After our first night on the ship, my husband and I were already booking a placeholder cruise because we knew that we would want to come back (over and over again).

Now, your proposal of back-to-back sailings sounds very dreamy because the only thing better than one cruise is TWO! In this case, the answer is yes, you would need to disembark (so that the amazing Cast Members can spiff up the ship for your next adventure). Make sure to keep all of your essential items (like any medications, phone, passports, etc.) with you for that in-between period. While you will be one of the first guests welcomed back on the ship, I always tell people to keep important items on them!

Courtney, I hope this helps as you're planning ahead. Whether your next adventure on the high seas will be aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, or the newest ship in the fleet... the Disney Wish, I know you'll have an amazing time. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to this pirate crew (the planDisney panelists).

    Bon Voyage!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
