Does Tony's Town Square still have the option to swap gluten free pasta in their dishes? Thank you!

    Hi there, Devin!

Thank you for bringing your question to us at planDisney on this lovely bella notte. How exciting that your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is approaching so quickly! Can you believe it is less than two weeks away? Disney dining is one of my favorite topics, so let's dig right in to your question.

I'm so glad you are planning to enjoy a meal at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. I love how it feels as if you've been dropped into a scene from one of my very favorite Disney films, and you just might see a couple of pups enjoying a date night if you were to peek outside. In perusing the allergy-friendly portion of the menu available online, I noticed a few appetizers and entrées that were listed as gluten-free but found no mention of gluten-free pasta, so I reached out to a helpful Cast Member with your inquiry. She shared that while she is unable to guarantee the availability of gluten-free pasta, the restaurant is listed as being able to accommodate gluten allergies. She suggested stopping by the restaurant before your reservation and asking to see the gluten-free menu. If the menu is not to your liking, you are free to cancel your dining reservation without penalty as long as you do so at least two hours before the time of your reservation. With its prime location just inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park, a stop at Tony's won't add any additional steps to your day. Alternatively, if you were hoping for more specific information before your vacation begins, I suggest emailing Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com with your inquiry.

While researching your question, I also discovered that one of my favorite quick-service restaurants, Satu'li Canteen in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, offers an extensive gluten-free menu featuring its signature protein-packed bowls. These are a great alternative to traditional theme park fare, and always leave me feeling well-fueled for the rest of my day.

I hope this was helpful, Devin, and that you have a pasta-tively wonderful vacation filled with delicious eats. Feel free to drop back by if any additional questions arise!

    Cheers to 2024,
    Lizzie
