Hi Adam!
Aren't the holidays at
Walt Disney World the best? The parks look so festive all decked out in their holiday finest. I love the zillions of twinkling lights, thousands of poinsettias, and hundreds of fabulously decorated Christmas trees.
Yes, Adam, there is a special Christmas celebration this year! The
Disney Very Merriest After Hours party will be held on select nights in the
Magic Kingdom starting in November. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and special character sightings are all part of the fun. Plus, there are SO MANY SNACKS! Endless popcorn, ice cream, and select beverages are included with admission and there are seasonal specialties available to purchase.
Two shiny new nighttime spectaculars have just debuted in Epcot and Magic Kingdom and events with reserved viewing for these firework displays are open to book. The
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties offer a choice of a before, during, or after party; all three provide reserved viewing of the fireworks, loads of sweet treats, and wine and beer.
The California Grill atop
Disney's Contemporary Resort hosts a slightly swankier version of the fireworks dessert party,
Celebration at the Top, complete with a complementary bar with California wine, cordials, and beer. Hop aboard a boat for a water view of
Disney Enchantment with
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. Both of these events are outside the parks, so no theme park admission is necessary.
Epcot is not currently offering any dessert parties, but both the Rose and Crown and Spice Road Table offer
Fireworks Dining Packages.
Wishing you a delightful time whichever one you decide to enjoy!
Elisabeth
