Hi there, Kimberly!
Can you believe that your
great big beautiful tomorrow holds a visit to Walt Disney World Resort? We're honored that you've chosen to make
planDisney a part of your preparations. Thanks for stopping by!
While mid to late April typically marks the end of Spring Break season making midweek visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth a bit less popular for most Guests, this year's late Easter means that we can likely expect an influx of travelers toward the end of the week due to many school and business closures in honor of Good Friday. Magic Kingdom Park is often a popular destination for Easter travelers because of the appearances of Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny in the days leading up to Easter, as well as the pre-parade cavalcade that usually runs exclusively during Easter weekend. With that said, I think tomorrow (Thursday) will see much lighter crowd levels than the rest of the holiday weekend.
Although it will be a popular weekend at Magic Kingdom Park, Kimberly, it is worth noting that there are still
theme park reservations available for Guests whose tickets require those, which is a positive sign. I'm also a firm believer that there's magic to be found regardless of the crowd level. Choose a few must-dos for your day and then take your time enjoying the details (and snacks) of the park. Did you know there are several Pascals hidden between
Memento Mori and the Rapunzel's Tower restrooms in Fantasyland?
When possible, I try to minimize waits by taking advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry and purchasing
Lightning Lane Passes, and when Lightning Lanes aren't in the budget (or available), I try to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app, monitor wait times, and move through the theme park accordingly. You can also save time by
mobile ordering meals at select quick-service dining locations.
I hope this was helpful as you prepare to
hop over to Magic Kingdom Park, Kimberly!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
