Hi Sandra!
Take it from the mom of two boys who bought five (yes five) different potties, purchased every potty-training video and book, and succumbed to bribery to "get the deed done", you have a reason to celebrate! I can't think of a better place to toast this milestone than Disney, during it's "What Will You Celebrate?" campaign. This year, Disney is helping its guests celebrate everything from weddings, graduations and promotions, to some of life's simpler milestones. I can think of a few ideas to help your twins feel special. First, Disney has just unveiled a new line of adorable celebration cakes (some under $20), including a personal pirate and princess cake that can be delivered at the meal of your choice. To order one of these, simply inform the Cast Member who helps you make your Advanced Dining Reservation at 407-WDW-DINE. Why not "serve" these cakes at one of the Character Meals. Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace are wonderful choices. You can also order one of a number of "goody bags" to make their dinner extra special. Again, you can order these when you make your dining reservations. Finally, if you really want to "go crazy", you can visit,
www.disneyflorist.com and set up an in-room celebration from a variety of choices. I was the recipient of a birthday celebration in December, and all I can say is "wow"! I returned to my room to see that Mickey and his friends had decorated it with balloons and giant gift boxes, filled with treats from each of the "Fabulous Five." Donald's gift even had feathers falling out of the box!
I hope some of my ideas inspire you. Please congratulate your twins on job well done!
Tanya
P.S. I think mom deserves a "prize" for getting the kids out of pull-ups! Dinner at Jiko, Artist Point, California Grille or the Flying Fish Cafe with a lovely glass of wine sounds just about right!
