Hi, was told 5 people can be accomadated in Royal guest room, magnolia bend at POR, is that correct?

    Hi Santina!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. My family of five has stayed there several times, and we really enjoy the beautiful grounds and Ol' Man Island pool. And you'll find lots of good old-fashioned family fun at this Resort hotel, like roasting marshmallows by the campfire; it's a favorite activity for my family!

The Royal Rooms can accommodate four Guests three and older. If you have four Guests who are three or older and one child under three years of age, then all five of you can stay in a Royal Room. However, if all five Guests are three years of age or older, you will be assigned an Alligator Bayou room. The rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside are the only rooms that feature the extra pull-down bed to accommodate a fifth Guest. The Magnolia Bend mansion rooms, including the Royal Guest Rooms, do not have the extra pull-down bed. Note that if your party has five Guests aged three and older, you will automatically be assigned an Alligator Bayou room. My kids absolutely love the pull-down bed!

I hope this helps with your planning, Santina. Please stop back and let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort

Wishing you magical memories to last a lifetime!
