I was told that we could not only bring snacks into the park but pre assembled food as well. Like sandwiches or salads in a plastic container. Is this true?

Howdy, Carmela! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

You can most certainly bring food and drinks into the Disneyland Resort. These can include snacks like granola bars, crackers, and apple slices or the packaged sandwiches and salads like you describe. The only restrictions are that your items cannot be packaged in glass containers (baby food jars are allowed) and that you cannot bring any alcoholic beverages. You can store your items in a backpack or bring along a cooler as long as it is smaller than  24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. You may also consider storing your cooler or food items in a locker available to rent in both parks and in the esplanade area between the parks. There is even a set of lockers in the picnic area which provides convenient access to your food if you wish to have a picnic lunch at the parks.

I would encourage you to try at least one meal at either a quick or table service restaurant in the parks, though. The food at the Disneyland Resort is really incredible and I continue to be impressed at the vast variety of tasty food options. A particular favorite is Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land. There is nothing better than a plate of Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken and a classic chocolate shake. Also, if you grab a table around back, you will have an amazing view of the cars racing by on Radiator Springs Racers!

I hope this information was helpful. See ya real soon!
