Hi I was told that for first time visitors you would be given a pin to wear, Is this true?

    Hi Briana,

If this is your first visit, or if you are celebrating another special occasion, you can get a complimentary Celebration button to wear throughout the day or throughout your stay at Walt Disney World.  There are buttons available for: first visits, birthdays, family reunions, anniversaries, honeymoons, and even one that let's you write in your own reason for celebrating.

When you check into your resort, let a cast member know it's your first visit.  They may have a pin to give you.  Otherwise, stop by Guest Relations or a Vacation Planning Booth at any of the four parks to get your pin.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
