Linda from MO Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been told that I can make dining reservations 60 days out plus the length of my stay in advance. That would be 67 days per our trip. But when I look at the dining reservation on my app it will not allow me to see That 7 day period + the 60.

Hello there, Linda. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney to chat about one of my favorite things - Disney dining!

Linda, you are able to make your advanced dining reservations for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation 60 days prior to your check-in day. At that time, you are able to book reservations for the length of your stay up to 10 days. If you are checking in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel on December 16, 2021, the date you can begin booking your dining reservations is Sunday, October 16, 2021.

To make your advanced dining reservations, Linda, be sure to set your alarm clock early. The booking window opens up bright and early, 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time, online via your MyDisneyExperience account. If you prefer to call, the phone lines open up right at 7:00 a.m. I prefer and recommend booking online using the MyDisneyExperience app because it is that early time frame. Some of the most popular spots fill up rather quickly and I want you to have all of the advantages you can have! If you do choose to call, the number is 407-WDW-DINE and a Cast Member will be more than happy to assist you.

If you are looking for a last-minute dining reservation suggestion, my favorite place to eat right now is The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. The restaurant is set right on the lake and provides stunning views especially if you sit outside. The menu has something for everyone. My go-to order right now happens to be the lobster roll, served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. In fact, this meal is so delicious, my family orders the exact same thing every time we are there. Lobster rolls all around!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about when you can book your dining reservations, Linda. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun and happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
