Was told to check with higher ups at Disney for a possible gift card or credit. I bought ten tickets and due to Covid, one adult and one child will be unable to make it. I have someone that bought one day of the passes, but will miss out on the other day

    Hello Jaime,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

It sounds like you're gathering up your Mouseketeers to enjoy all the holiday magic of the Walt Disney World Resort, and that is so fun to hear! I'm sorry to hear, though, that some of your Mouseketeers aren't able to join you in visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth."

As Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are nonrefundable, there are a few options I can think of that are available to you.

One option is to reassign the unused theme park tickets to other Guests who could join you using the My Family and Friends List and the My Plans features in your My Disney Experience account.

Another option that would be available to you, if the tickets go unused and should expire, is to apply the amount you paid for the tickets towards the purchase of new tickets for a future visit. The new tickets would need to be priced the same or higher than the original tickets.

If you'd like to explore other options that might be available, Jaime, you might want to give a call to the Walt Disney World Resort tickets team at (407)-934-7639 and discuss the details of your circumstances with a Cast Member.

Here's wishing you a fun and wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much merry holiday magic awaiting you and your whole group!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
