I was told that we could bring our wagon, but I looked online and it says you cannot. Is there wagons to rent because I have a seven-year-old and I know he is not going to be able to walk all day long.

    Hiya Francine!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your wagon question. In just a few short weeks, you’ll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, soaking in that first view of Cinderella Castle, and maybe even hearing the Dapper Dans harmonizing in the background.

First, I want to apologize for the confusion. So, let’s jump right into your question. According to the Walt Disney World Property Rules, wagons or stroller wagons are not permitted in the theme parks or water parks. Strollers must also be no wider than 31 inches and no longer than 52 inches. I completely understand needing a stroller. I have an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old, and we only recently graduated to a single stroller. Those park days are long, and little legs get tired!

The good news is you absolutely have rental options. Strollers are available for rent at all four theme parks and at Disney Springs. You can choose a single stroller (recommended for children 50 pounds or less) or a double stroller (for children 100 pounds or less combined). You can rent day by day, or if you know you’ll need one for multiple days, a length-of-stay rental will save you a little money. Just prepay for the number of days you need, then show your receipt at the stroller rental location when you arrive at each park to pick one up.

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, another great option is ScooterBug, Disney’s Featured Provider for stroller, ECV, and wheelchair rentals. They offer length-of-stay rentals, and one of the best perks is that you do not need to be present when the equipment is delivered to your Disney Resort hotel. It will be waiting for you when you arrive, which makes that first park morning even smoother.

Francine, I hope this helps answer your question. If any other questions pop up while you’re counting down the days, we’re always here for you.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
