What toiletries are included in the cabins at Fort Wilderness?

Howdy, Clarissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for moseying on over with your question. Let's head to "the Fort" for a spell!

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have become like a second home for our family. We stay there at least once a year, and I look forward to it so much! Maybe it's the natural surroundings, or the comfort of the cabins. Maybe it's being just a stone's throw from the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Or maybe it's tooling around in a golf cart and exploring the gorgeous property! Whatever the reason, we keep coming back again and again.

Like all regular Guest rooms in Disney Resort hotels, you'll find an assortment of toiletries in the cabin for your use. During our most recent stay last December, we had shampoo, conditioner, and two small bars of soap in the bathroom. In the kitchen you'll find pretty much everything you need to whip up some tasty meals. Pots and pans, dishes, plates, glassware, and serving utensils, plus a small bottle of dish soap and dishwasher detergent are provided for you. There's also a coffeemaker, so you can enjoy a cup of joe on your deck on a peaceful morning among the trees at Fort Wilderness. It's a wonderful way to start the day.

All that, and you're just a quick boat ride from Magic Kingdom Park! Maybe that's why I love Fort Wilderness so much.

I hope this helps you plan your stay at the Fort, Clarissa. Hurry on back if you have any more questions now, ya hear?

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
