Hi Eirian,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hear that you are bringing a little one to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Since one of our girls has a peanut allergy, we have some experience navigating the parks and resorts with this consideration in mind. There are a number of resources available for guests with food allergies. First, I suggest that you review the information on
Special Dietary Requests. Then, make advanced dining reservations. When making those reservations (if you have not already done so), indicate the peanut allergy while booking. If you have already made dining reservations, call 407-939-1947 and ask a cast member to note the allergy on all of your dining reservations.
When we arrive at a table-service restaurant, our server always talks to us about the allergies we have noted on the dining reservation and then a chef often comes to our table to speak with us directly. When we visit quick-service restaurants, I look for an allergy-friendly menu and I speak with a cast member at the restaurant. Our girls have different food allergies but have both been well cared for by the dietary team at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Eirian, you can also email the team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com if you have more specific questions. Also, note that you can bring your own food and snacks for your daughter into the park. When entering a theme park, just be sure to let the cast members know at bag check that your daughter has a food allergy.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
