    Hi, there!

     Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheila. I'm so pleased to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

     Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas are among my absolute favorite Disney Resort hotels. The architecture, the restaurants, the views - all incredible! What I love the most though, are the many fantastic recreational offerings available for Guests of all ages. When you check-in at Jambo House, you'll receive a recreation calendar. The calendars are updated monthly, but they usually include the same offerings from month to month. I bet your toddler would especially enjoy Medallion Rubbing, African Face Painting, the Drum Café, and Cookie Decorating. There are usually seasonally-themed activities appropriate for little ones at Simba's Activity Center too. Most of the activities at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas are free, but some do require a fee which is noted on the recreation calendar. If you have warm weather during your visit, I bet your toddler will also love Hakuna Matata Playground and the awesome pools!
