As of today March 24, 2022 do guest have to wear mask in the gift shops?

    Hi Patricia!

One of my favorite parts of a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is the shopping! Whether you're interested in Legacy Lightsabers from Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities or a keepsake from the Haunted Mansion's 999 happy haunts at Momento Mori, there's something for everyone in the shops throughout the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"

I'm glad you're asking about the face covering policies in advance of your trip so you are prepared for a magical vacation. Currently, face coverings are optional at indoor locations, including shops and restaurants, for Guests who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All Guests who are 2 years old and above who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks at all indoor locations. Keep in mind that all Guests 2 years old and above are required to wear masks on Disney buses and monorails, regardless of their vaccination status. I recommend that you keep an eye on the official Walt Disney World Resort face covering policy for the latest policy updates and to get additional information about face covering requirements.

Patricia, as you count down the final sleeps until your trip, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news about everything you can enjoy during your vacation! There are quite a few new and returning experiences headed to the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs for Guests to enjoy and the blog is the perfect place to stay on top of all of the latest announcements.

Come back to see us if you have additional questions as your trip approaches! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
