Hello Carrie,
Congratulations on booking your first Disney vacation!! You and your Princesses are in for the time of your lives! The fall is a fabulous time of year to visit...I know sometimes the Midwest likes to get particularly chilly and Florida is a welcome change!
I wholeheartedly believe planning your trip can be almost as fun as the vacation itself. There's so much to see and do at Disney. The opportunities and experiences are endless.
You can always ask here at the Moms Panel for any advice you may need along the way the next few months. I know my daughter is just about the same age as yours so she's my go-to-person for "what's hot" for the tween set!
Also make sure you and your daughters start to check out
DisneyWorld.com. Here you'll all be able to mark what restaurants, attractions and shows are must hits for your family. That way you won't be overwhelmed when you enter each Park. If you'd like a more structured strategy, I subscribe to TouringPlans.com. They have fantastic game plans tailored for families. Also, AllEars.net has unofficial menus for many of the restaurants on property. It's a great resource too.
I hope this helps! Let us know if there's anything else we can do as you embark on this journey! Just remember: there's a great big beautiful tomorrow! (Or October! When you ride the
Carousel of Progress, you'll understand!)
