Hey there, Laureen. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I noticed that you'll be heading to Walt Disney World in just a few days. That is so exciting!
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a great choice for your upcoming vacation, Laureen. My family and I often stay there and have always had a great time. In fact, I'll also be staying there with some of my planDisney panelist friends in just a few weeks. With the addition of the Disney Skyliner, getting around Walt Disney World from Disney's Pop Century Resort has never been easier.
Inside your hotel room, for your convenience, you'll find a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. While toasters aren't allowed in the rooms, for safety reasons, there are a few at the
Everything POP Shopping and Dining area located in the main building of the resort to use. I took a look at the calendar and it looks like the food court area will be open every day from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. while you are visiting. In the mornings, before catching the bus to one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you can just stop in and toast up your breakfast and then be on your way. There is no charge, of course, to use the toasters. You'll find them set up in the food court near the drink machine kiosks.
If you don't feel like toasting up some breakfast one morning while staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort, I can attest that the breakfast served there is really good. I'm always a big-time fan of Mickey waffles, but there are a variety of options
on the menu. Right now, ordering is done via the MyDisneyExperience app so be sure to have that downloaded to your smartphone before your trip. You can place your order before leaving your hotel room, head down to the food court area, let them know you are there via the app and then your order will be ready in no time.
I really hope you have a great time at Walt Disney World, Laureen. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
Enjoy!
