Tks, Allison! Loved your ideas! I’d also love to do something beyond a physical gift. I thought about asking a character to record a short greeting for her. Is that something Cast Members may accommodate? Have you ever seen this done?

Welcome back to planDisney, Livia! I'm so happy to see you again!

When it comes to Walt Disney World planning, you've got a friend in me! And your bride-to-be bestie's got a fantastic friend in you. I've had so much fun dreaming up magical ways to celebrate your pal's wedding. And I know if we work together, we can strike just the right note!

Livia, my family loves meeting our favorite characters in Disney World. Whether I'm snapping a pic with a princess or watching my kids laugh it up with Goofy, there's always something special about a moment with a character. And the best part? Characters are generally happy to help spread the magic, whenever and however they can!

In my experience, many characters will happily film a short shout-out or a quick congratulations during a meet-and-greet. Of course, this is never a guarantee, but characters and Disney Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate your request when they can.

Now, you'll probably want to look for your friend's favorite character, but remember that not all characters use their voices in the parks! While certain characters (like Mickey and Minnie and their friends) will be happy to wave and pose, look for human characters (like Disney Princesses, Aladdin, Alice, and Mary Poppins) for a message that's loud and proud!

Livia, my family's favorite way to meet our Disney pals is to enjoy a meal while we do it! Character dining is a great way to meet lots of characters at once, without waiting in line in the parks. For your purposes, I suggest making an Advance Dining Reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, or 1900 Park Fare. All of these locations feature lots of human characters, so you can easily record messages from several different characters. Afterward, you could even edit the clips together for a magical, memorable montage!

But in case you're looking for characters out and about in the parks, don't forget you can use your My Disney Experience app to find them. Just open the app on your phone and tap the locator icon at the bottom of the screen (it looks like an upside-down teardrop). On the next page, you'll find a horizontal menu at the top of the screen. Swipe right to find the "Characters" tab, select that icon, and a bunch of Mickey-head silhouettes will appear on the map. These represent all the different characters you can meet inside the park! For more information, click on each icon, and you'll be able to see which characters are meeting at that location and what time you can find them there.

I hope this helps, Livia! If you have any other questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Magical travels,

    Allison
