It's a great big boo-tiful tomorrow here at planDisney, Lisa. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite separately-ticketed Walt Disney World Resort events because it's where the elusive Elvis Stitch makes his appearance as the mischievous King of Rock-n-Roll! To make the most of my evening spent at the party, I usually forego theme park tickets for the day of the event and instead enjoy a leisurely morning at my Disney Resort hotel before grabbing a late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant on the
Resort Monorail Loop. From there, it's time to head to Magic Kingdom Park for 4 PM early entry to the party!
Those 3 hours of bonus magic provide Guests with a great opportunity to squeeze in a few extra attractions, pose for a few photos, or hop in line for the party's most popular characters to maximize their time during the actual party. Unfortunately, Lisa, I just verified with a Cast Member that Guests with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets but without traditional theme park entry will be unable to purchase
Lightning Lane Passes during this 3-hour window.
Although I'm sure this is not what you were hoping to hear, Lisa, I do want to reassure you that wait times for attractions (even the most popular ones) drastically decrease during parties and after-hours events. Even though you'll need to wait in standby queues between 4 and 7, you should notice a dramatic drop in wait times as the evening continues. Don't forget that
certain attractions will have seasonal overlays exclusively during the party, so be sure to save those for a late-night treat!
I hope this was helpful, Lisa, and that you'll stop back by planDisney with any additional questions you may have.
I'm always happy to help!We Scare Because We Care,
Lizzie
