    Tips for what to do with a 5 yr old after we disembark our cruise. We won't get back to the resort until 11 or 12. What is there to do for kids at disney springs?

    Hi Megan ~

    A Disney land and sea adventure is the perfect vacation where the magic never ends!

    My boys have always loved spending time at Disney Springs and there is a lot for a 5 year old to do there. I am not if you have a boy or girl but here are some suggestions:
    * Take a ride on the Marketplace Train Express or the Marketplace Carousel. Both are located near Once Upon a Toy which is also a great place for kids to shop.
    * Soar over Disney Springs in the world's largest, hand-painted helium balloon.
    * Play at the LEGO Imagination Center.
    * T-REX - This is a great place to eat but even if you don't eat there you can visit the Paleo Zone, the Dino-Store and Build-A-Dino.
    * Take an Amphicar Tour
    * Visit the Star Wars Trading Post where you can build your own droid or lightsaber.
    * Visit the World of Disney to shop. My boys always find some great souvenEARs there.
    * Check out the Marketplace Stage. There is usually some form of live entertainment there including Kids Dance Parties.
    * Climb aboard a complimentary water taxi and enjoy the view of Lake Buena Vista. If you want a longer cruise, jump on a water taxi and sail out and back to Disney's Port Orleans Resort. It is a 20 minute ride each way and very peaceful.

    There are tons of great places to grab your favorite snack and just relax. My boys think the Cupcake ATM at Sprinkles is awesome.

    Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
