Welcome BACK Denise!
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a lovely. There's a sandy beach, hammocks are spread throughout the trees, and the way the lights of the El Centro building reflect on the Lago Dorado lake is just beautiful at night. I think you're going to have a very nice stay!
There are four bus stops at this resort hotel, and each is close to a grouping of guest room buildings. If you think of a clock, the Cabanas buildings and bus stop are at midnight, Ranchos is almost at 3, the stop for the lobby is at 6, and Casitas is at 9. (There is a fifth stop at the Convention Center that we'll call 7:45, but if this one is in use, it's usually later in the afternoon.) This is a spread out resort, and I personally wouldn't venture from the Ranchos area to catch a bus at the Casitas stop, because the two are all the way across the resort from each other. It all depends on where your guest room is, of course, but I would aim for either the Cabanas the Ranchos buildings and bus stops.
The El Mercado de Coronado is the only
Quick-Service location serving full meals. You'll find seven stations that offer up a bit of everything. But if you feel like just a little nibble to get you going in the morning, or maybe a light snack, Cafe Rix has pastries, fruit, coffee beverages and cold desserts all day.
Ice is located on your guest floor, usually around the corner from the elevator. And there are three self-serve laundry rooms at this resort. Each is located
in the building next to the three smaller pools. Pro Tip: These machines only take credit cards.
I hope this helped, Denise, and We'll See You Real Soon!
