What are some tips and suggestions you can give for taking an infant to the parks? We plan on bringing our daughter when she's about 8 months old. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Amy! You should not worry and stress about bringing an infant to Walt Disney World. Disney is the place where children are welcome to all areas including dining.

I suggest you ship as many supplies that you might need to your resort hotel ahead of time. This includes diapers, wipes, and formulas etc. You can purchase extra things at the park's baby centers or the resort stores but they might not have the specific brands you are used to.

Bring a good stroller but that does not mean the biggest one you can find. You will want to have a soft sided cooler for feeding needs such as powder formula or water and bottles. A diaper bag is a must for the diapers and wipes and creams.  Consider one change of clothing in case of accidents and have a few toys that can be attached to the stroller in some way. You do not want to lose that favorite huggable animal along the way while walking in the parks.

Do not over pack for the parks. You will want to make sure your daughter has a good hat of bonnet and have baby sun screen even on those cloudy days in Florida. And don't forget if you have forgotten anything you can stop by the baby center for those needs. It is also a great place for a quiet feeding time.

The last suggestion is to avoid attractions that have movies. You will likely feel stressed if your child makes noises in the middle of a show. There are plenty of other attractions that you can enjoy without being nervous about interrupting other guests enjoyment. Enjoy and gather all those wonderful memories of your daughter's first trip to Walt Disney World!
