Hi, there!
Raven, I'm so glad to hear you have a few days planned in
Magic Kingdom Park with your little Mouseketeers. You will just love watching their faces beam as they experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort.
We have gotten caught in many a rain shower while enjoying our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I'm happy to tell you that rain can't ruin a day in the "Most Magical Place on Earth!" I have plenty of tips to share with you.
First, pack enough ponchos for everyone in your family. Prior to our trip, I purchase inexpensive plastic ponchos because they're lightweight and easy to toss into our park backpack. I also pack an extra poncho to cover our double stroller!
Magic Kingdom Park has really great shows for little ones. Country Bear Jamboree, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, and Mickey's PhilharMagic are perfect places to escape wet weather! You'll need to park your stroller before entering these locations, so be sure to cover it if it isn't sheltered where you parked it.
Most of Magic Kingdom Park's attractions have indoor queue areas, but if it's raining, avoid the attractions that don't. Some of my favorite covered queues include Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. These queue areas are interactive and really fun for little ones!
My last tip is to enjoy a meal while it's raining outside! Magic Kingdom Park has several
Quick Service dining locations that offer plenty of seating for an easy, fast escape from the rain. We really enjoy Columbia Harbour House and Pinnochio Village Haus.
Raven, no matter the weather, I know you'll have a magical two days!
