    Any tips on keeping my kids entertained while waiting in line for an attraction?

    Welcome to the Moms Panel Kristin!  We're super happy you're hEAR.

    I'm not sure how old your kids are but I'll give some suggestions to cover a range of ages.

    If your kids are small:

    * Bring some of their favorite small toys.  If you have a way to clip them on so that they aren't throwing them or dropping them, that may also help.  Be sure to bring antibacterial wipes just in case.
    * Bring snacks for them to munch on in line.  Don't forget a drink to wash it down.
    * Stickers - kids love these and you can get the free round ones at most merchandise locations
    * We've even brought bubbles and usually make friends with these.
    * Play games like peek-a-boo.

    Giving kids breaks from their strollers and trying to stick to nap and feeding schedules, helps keep them happy and less restless.

    If your kids are older, look for Hidden Mickeys in line. You can even pick up the book "Hidden Mickeys" by Steven M. Barrett and use it to look for them.  Keep a list of the ones you find.  You may even find new ones and can submit them. We've also gone online and looked up the history and details of some of the attractions and discuss them while we're in line.

    My 6 year old loves to snap pictures with my camera while waiting in line. Its great to get a child's view and perspective of Disney World.  I love getting his explanations of his pictures when we return from our trip and view them together.

    I try to avoid this because I want my kids focused on the magic and what is going on around them but I have seen lots of teenagers with their hand held video games or iPods to listen to music.

    Let us know if you need any other suggestions.  We're thrilled to assist you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
