What tips can you give for solo adult traveler? I haven't been since 2014, but I am treating myself to a needed holiday sometime between September 2021 and March 2022.

Hello Trish and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!  We are so glad that you've stopped by with such a great question for us.

I am thrilled to know that you're planning on treating yourself to what I'm sure is a well earned holiday trip to Walt Disney World Resort during this coming Fall or Spring 2022 - I just know that's it's going to be practically perfect in every way as your pal Mickey Mouse has missed seeing you since you last visited in 2014!

Although I haven't enjoyed a completely alone Disney trip, I have travelled by myself to Orlando many times in the past and have spent lots of occasions both dining and touring the Theme Parks as a solo traveller.  And with these experiences in mind, I've discovered many perks to being on one's own at Walt Disney World Resort!

My first solo traveller tip would be for you to simply embrace the image of 'Party of 1' - because believe when I say, the sheer joy of doing what you want, when you want at Walt Disney World Resort can be extra magical!

In addition to securing Advanced Dining Reservations at select restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, it might also be fun as a 'Party of 1' to utilise Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability via your My Disney Experience Mobile App.  This super convenient gizmo really is a great way to dine when the mood takes you and of course that's quite easy to achieve when you're a solo traveller.

Why not treat yourself to eating ALL the treats!  After all, there's no one to tell you, that you can't!  I adore all the seasonal treats on offer at Walt Disney World Resort and I would highly recommend making a tick-list of all the delicious offerings you'd like to try before heading out on your treat-laden treasure hunt.  The Disney Parks Blog usually has some wonderful articles featuring the latest confections, such as this Disney Parks Blog - Best Bites at Walt Disney World Resort

As part of The World's Most Magical Celebration beginning this Fall, you'll want to be sure to take lots of selfies and perhaps even share them on social media by using Disney PhotoPass Service x Snap: Announcing New PhotoPass Snapchat Lenses and Can’t-Miss Surprises for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!

Trish, I hope I've been able to provide a little insight for you today into creating your very own zip-a-dee-doo-dah holiday trip to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.  If you should have any further queries, then please do pop back to planDisney to ask me another question.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
