tips for dining reservations for party of 10 ( 4 kids)

Happy New Year, Bonnie, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up in just a few weeks, so it's a great time to be thinking about all the delicious food you're going to eat while you're there.

My very first tip for making dining reservations for a large group is exactly that: make some reservations as soon as you can, up to 180 days before your arrival date if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resport Hotel. You can browse restaurants and available dining times and book your dining reservations easily using the My Disney Experience app.

Now let's talk about food! For a large, multigenerational group like yours, I would recommend booking a reservation at a family-style restaurant as well as a buffet. Both of these dining experiences offer a wide variety of food choices which are great for kids and picky eaters alike. We love family-style dining at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort because it's a really social way for our family to enjoy some quality time together, and the view of Magic Kingdom is spectacular. Buffets offer a chance for everyone to get something they like, and we love Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for its one-of-a-kind breakfast, Mickey Mouse-shaped waffles included!

    Have a magical day, Bonnie.

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our three rescue animals. We are Disney Parks-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
