Hi, Melissa!
I completely understand your initial reaction to getting around
Walt Disney World--it's huge! While I felt the very same way on my first couple of trips, transportation to and from your resort, various theme parks and Disney Springs isn't as complicated as it may first appear.
Complimentary resort transportation to and from
Disney's Pop Century Resort is easy: you'll take a Disney bus right from the main entrance of your resort, Classic Hall. Looking at the map in the link above, you can even see buses lined up. There, buses will stop at clearly marked locations according to destination, so when you exit Classic Hall, simply look for the sign of your desired location. Buses display their destination on electronic signs by the main passenger door, too, making it easier to determine if an approaching bus will pull up to your stop.
Once at a theme park, water park or
Disney Springs, stops are also arranged by destination. A well-marked large sign is at each park exit and at the bus stop area of Disney Springs; just look for Pop Century and you'll locate the number of your bus stop at that particular location.
From Disney Springs, take a bus to
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, as roads that surround the two are quite busy.
Send questions as you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, Melissa. Moms and Dads on
Disney Parks Moms Panel have
been there, done that, and we're glad to help!
