Any tips on the best Brunch spots at a Resort or Disney Springs? Our reservation day is coming up and I'd love to snag the best! We have done Boma in the past and it was INCREDIBLE but closed currently =(

    Hello, dear Emmy!

Welcome back to planDisney. It's nice to help you again!

Let me just say that I already love your question because we share a passion: Boma - Flavors of Africa! I had a fabulous brunch there with my fellow 2019 planDisney classmates last November, and I've been obsessed since then. I've talked so much about it that my husband is anxious to go on our next visit.

I also love that you're planning your resort day carefully - this is vital to ensure that you'll rest and eat well!

Right now, my favorite place for brunch is Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, hands down. The menu ranges from classics like Traditional Eggs Benedict and Old-fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes to more sophisticated options like a Miso-glazed Salmon. This option is fantastic if your resort day is a weekday, as the other brunch options are only offered on weekends.

But what I love the most about this restaurant is the location. By making a reservation there, you'll be able to tour the luxurious Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa grounds and lobby to take fun pictures, enjoy some shopping and just have a relaxing morning with Cinderella Castle in the distance. Isn't that a perfect brunch morning?

If you'd prefer to enjoy a weekend brunch at Disney Springs, I have two suggestions: Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Their menus are very different, and I think that your choice here will depend on your tastes.

Some people are very loyal to the Church Lady Deviled Eggs and Fried Chicken at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', so I'm sure that you will find a lot of YouTube videos about them so that you can take a look at the dishes.

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, on the other hand, is famous for one fun take on scallops: the Scallop Forest. Their menu is a very entertaining read (they seem to be very fond of puns), so it's worth taking a look to see which dish will make you dream of the perfect brunch on this resort day!

I hope that these tips are useful, Emmy! Please let us know if you want more advice before your trip (or when it's time to plan your next one). We're always delighted to help, especially when we are asked to share some foodie advice!

May the magic be with you,
