What is the tipping policy when using a cabana

    Hi, Donna! Welcome to planDisney.

Spending the day in a cabana at Walt Disney World Resort is such a treat. You’re in for a relaxing and luxurious experience, Donna! Whether you're unwinding at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or enjoying the peaceful vibes at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, cabanas offer comfy loungers, a mini-fridge stocked with refreshments, towel service, a dedicated attendant, and even a TV with cable and a fan to keep you cool. It’s the perfect way to relax with a bit of ka-chow!

Whilst tipping is never required, it is definitely appreciated. Your cabana attendant is a Cast Member who can accept gratuities, and many Guests choose to leave a cash tip at the end of the day based on the level of service they receive. A common range is $20–$50, but feel free to tip more if your attendant goes above and beyond. If you order food and beverages whilst relaxing in your cabana, a gratuity will typically be added to your bill, but you can always tip extra if the service was exceptional.

Pro tip: If you're planning a cabana day during the warmer months (especially June through September), consider booking your cabana for mid-week. Weekends and holidays tend to fill up quickly, and a weekday rental often comes with a more peaceful atmosphere.

    Happy planning, Donna!
