how does tip work for sit down meals with the dinning plan?

    Greetings, Ryan!

Welcome to planDisney! One of the things I love most about The Most Magical Place on Earth is the variety of dining options. And the Disney Dining Plan is a great way to plan ahead and check some must-try spots off your list.

Tipping is customary for great service at Table Service Meals, and you will have the option to do this at the end of each dining experience. While gratuity is not included with your Disney Dining Plan, you will still have the chance to add a tip when you settle your bill. The Cast Member serving your table will bring out your check when your party has finished eating. You can pay for the meal using dining credits, and you'll have the opportunity to add gratuity using a credit/debit card. If you are a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you'll also be able to charge gratuities to your room using your MagicBand+

While we are on the topic of dining, don't forget to mark your calendar for your dining reservation booking date! You can book dining reservations 60 days in advance. And Guests of a Disney hotel can book for their entire length of stay (up to ten days). This is a great perk that can help you secure some of those hard-to-get reservations, like Chef Mickey's and Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'

I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
