    How much should I tip the boat captain after a Wishes fireworks cruise? When I booked my reservation by phone, the Cast Member said tips are not required, but that doesn't seem right. What do you recommend?

    Hi Jill!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. 

    The Disney Cast Member was correct. Tips are not required nor expected. However, it is true that some guests do feel strongly about it and do try. Just do not be surprised if your tip is not accepted; that has happened to me many times in the past. I suggest offering a heartfelt thank you and if he or she did a stellar job, writing a letter on their behalf to Disney.
