Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!
I am pleased to tell you that Tinker Bell does still fly from
Cinderella Castle, pixie dust permitting, of course! She is a special part of
Happily Ever After, the nighttime spectacular at
Magic Kingdom Park so she will appear on nights when those fireworks are being shown. I don't know if she has any plans to be a part of
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, the brand new fireworks show for this year's
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but we'll know for sure on November 8, which is the debut of the new show.
Happily Ever After is a really popular show so I recommend getting a good spot in front of Cinderella Castle around 45 minutes to an hour before it begins. My favorite place to stand is near
Casey's Corner on Main Street U.S.A.! If a great spot is really important to your family and you also have a sweet tooth you can treat yourself to the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. You can enjoy a dessert buffet and then be escorted to a private viewing area near
The Plaza Restaurant that's the perfect place to take in both the fireworks and the incredible projection show. You can book tickets to the Dessert Party up to 180 days in advance, so take a look and see if it might be right for your family!
Have a magical day, Erin!
