How many times can you ride attractions in Disney world

Hi there, Colette, and welcome to planDisney!

Like my pal Dumbo, the sky is the limit when it comes to enjoying the magic at Walt Disney World Resort. From the most thrilling attractions like Expedition Everest in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to fun-for-the-entire-family attractions like "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom Park, you're in for quite the adventure.

In general, you can ride most attractions at Walt Disney World Resort as many times as you like from theme park opening until closing. If an attraction has a standby queue option, you are free to stand in that queue for infinity and beyond. Once, I rode a bygone attraction four or five times back-to-back. So, it's definitely possible!

Now, if you have acquired a Lightning Lane for an attraction using a purchased Disney Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane access, you can only use that faster queue once. And if you have complimentary Virtual Queue standby queue access for attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run, you can only use this once a day. The only exception is if you are a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest who can also try for a Virtual Queue at a later time for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours in addition to your earlier ride.

AN EXTRA GEM: If you have a little one in your party, when using the Rider Switch Service, one Mouseketeer could ride an attraction two times in a row. Ask a friendly Cast Member near the attraction's entrance to set up your party with Rider Switch. While an adult waits with the little one who doesn't want to (or can't) ride the attraction, the first group experiences the thrills. Then, the adult who stayed behind can ride alone (or with another adult from the first riding group). I love this perk when I have little ones in tow!

Colette, I hope that you have The Most Magical vacation! If you have additional Disney vacation planning questions, swing by planDisney again. I'm all ears!
