Is the Times Guide a board that has a location at each park, or is it a piece of paper that I pick up with my map at the entrance? I was told the times guide would tell us where and when to find certain characters. Is this true?

Hi, Jody!   You can pick up a Times Guide anywhere you see Park Maps.  You will find these near park entrances and throughout the parks.

A times guide is just a piece of paper with information on both sides.  One side has park hours and any special hours for attractions that might have different times than the park on a whole.  It also lists restaurant times, which is really important especially during Extra Magic Hours.  Not all restaurants will stay open late, so you will want to plan ahead.

The back of the Times Guide has showtimes, meet and greet times, parade times, and more.   You will find this little sheet of paper to be very informative!  If there is a character not listed that you were hoping to meet, stop by Guest Relations to see if your Disney pal is scheduled anywhere for a meet and greet inside the park.

You will also find Tip Boards in each park.  These list attractions and wait times.   The Tip Boards are helpful as you can plan where to head next (we love when we see only a 5 or 10 minute wait for something - we head straight to it!)

So pick up a Times Guide when you enter each park and have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
