What times do dining reservations become available? I went to bed not being able to make any reservations on May 14th to having very few options at 5:30am the next day.

Hello Amy, and welcome to planDisney with an important planning question.

Your magical vacation will be here before you know it. Soon you will be walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. enjoying the beautifully decorated Cinderella Castle for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. There are so many new experiences created for Guests to help them celebrate. My favorite is the 50th Anniversary Sips and Bites Guide. This is your guide to take your tastebuds on an adventure of entrees, desserts, snacks, and libations created for party-goers.

Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended for the most popular table service restaurants. Remember that you will need a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation to enter a theme park where you have a dining reservation. You can make your Advanced Dining Reservations online by logging into My Disney Experience online or the mobile app around 5:45 AM Eastern Time, or as we call it in my house, Mickey time. The site begins accepting new reservations at 6:00 AM sharp. If you are a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can make your reservations for the entire length of your trip. Pro tip: Make your reservations for your must-do restaurants towards the end of your stay when there is more availability. You will have a better chance of getting a reservation at the most popular eateries later in your trip. Anyone who is not a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel will only be able to make their reservations 60 days in advance from the day they plan to dine.

Some special dining experiences require the assistance of a Cast Member to book, like desert parties. You can call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 starting at 7:00 AM. If you are not able to get all the reservations that you are hoping to get, do not give up hope. Guests are always making changes to their plans, canceling reservations, or rescheduling. I recommend that you keep checking back for openings to your favorite restaurants. Some restaurants even have a walk-up list that you can join in the My Disney Experience mobile app on the date you are looking for a reservation.

I hope everything works out with your planning and that you have a magical time.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
