Hiya Laura,
Welcome to planDisney! There are so many things I love about
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays: the incredible food, the different holiday storytellers, and the memorable
Candlelight Processional.
I’ve always loved how each narrator brings their own unique flair to the experience. This year’s narrators are for sure going to be incredible. On December 4th, you will have the pleasure of hearing from one of my favorites, the voice of Megara, Susan Egan, currently (subject to change). The Candlelight Processional is currently scheduled for three showings nightly, 5:00 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:15 pm EST. In my experience, Laura, the earlier 5:00 pm show, and the last show at 8:15 pm tend to have the shortest standby lines, but that can vary depending on the popularity of the narrator and the day. In my experience, no matter what time you select, you will want to start getting in line 60-90 minutes before showtime so you have the best chance of securing the seats you want.
I hope this was helpful, Laura. Before I let you go, I wanted to share one of my family’s traditions for the Candlelight Processional. We like to use he time in the queue to enjoy snacks from the
holiday kitchens! So while one person stays in line, we send the other to choose a snack from around World Showcase. The person getting the snack keeps the selection secret, so the person waiting has no idea what they are getting. We have small children, so it helps save them from waiting in line, and it is always a fun surprise to see what yummy food item the other person brings back. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
