    What time of year is less expensive time to sail? Also is it cost effective to do the land and sea through Disney or book them separate?

    It sounds like you're looking to plan the perfect Disney vacation for you and your family. I'm happy to hear you're considering a Land and Sea adventure - the ultimate Disney combination vacation!

    When choosing your travel dates, keep in mind that Disney offers cruises at significantly reduced rates during the off season. Cruising in the “off season” usually means while most children are in school. Fall and early spring are wonderful times to cruise if you are looking to save some money. Also, it’s always best to book as early as you can to get the best rates! Remember to check the “Special Offers” page on disneycruise.com – you may find the perfect cruise for your family at a practically perfect price!

    My preferred way to make arrangements for a Land and Sea vacation is to book it through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. You can also book by calling Disney Cruise Line directly at 1-800-951-3532. I find it most cost-effective to use a Disney Travel Agent because they're always up-to-date on the most current booking specials and special offers. I've been able to get onboard credits and other perks by using a great Disney Travel Planner!
